Sage and Atlas always had each other’s back. A Halloween tradition by the siblings turned into the perfect opportunity to unleash the demons inside and redefine their connections.

I’m just as fucked up as my dear brother, and I think that will always be the tether that holds us together.

Conceptually, this story would sate any dark and taboo needs. Unfortunately, it was sold short by the execution. I was attracted to the darkness level, but I found it hard to feel much for the scenes that were supposed to invoke something due to the lack of intensity in the story and the characters. Yes, this is just a free short story but I felt it was a lost opportunity to make an impression.
