ARC Review: Peep Show by Isabella Starling

Title: Peep Show
Author: Isabella Starling
Genre: Dark Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person – Dual

Voyeur, noun
A person who gains pleasure from watching others naked.

My name is Miles Reilly. I’m a photographer. An agoraphobic. A womanizer. I’m confined to my apartment. I don’t leave. Ever.
Her name is Bebe Hall. She’s a heartbreaker. She’s the it girl of the moment, a party girl nobody can stop in her path of self-destruction.
Bebe Hall isn’t just the star of her own story. She’s the star of mine, too.
Our story begins when she sees me pressing a naked girl against the window of my penthouse apartment.
But it really kicks off when Bebe shows me just how dirty she is.
Because she doesn’t look away. Oh, no.
Bebe wants a peep show.
And I’m going to give her something worth watching.

Bebe Hall was an It girl on a path of self destruction. While her life revolved around wild partying with the in crowd, deep down she needed something more. She thought she found it when he saw the neighbor across the building.

Miles Reilly’s life was contained to his apartment. He had everything he needed within his four walls. But when Bebe started to pay attention, the feeling was mutual. However he had to figure out how to get what he wanted without losing who he was.

First I just want to say that the cover is yummy lol! And I think it’s a good representation of the hero.

I didn’t understand. Why wasn’t she running? If she knew what was good for her, she should fucking run.

Miles was someone I found easy to love. He had a lot of issues he had to overcome. He might look hard and intimidating on the outside, but inside was a pile of broken pieces.

Being vulnerable for him was the easiest thing in the world. Opening myself up to him was easier than spreading my legs every night for a different man.

Bebe on the other hand was someone easy to hate. Sometimes it was painful and sad seeing the way she lived her life. But I also think her fragility was part of her charm.

I like how the story started as something sexy/dirty but later delved deeper into issues that plagued the characters. And speaking of sexy and dirty, the sex scenes were hot and intense. I like the story overall, but I felt there was one scene that was out of place and unexplained.

The tears were spilling but Miles kept fucking, and I kept letting go for him until my body started going limp, my eyes threatening to shut completely and my legs kicking aimlessly at the bedsheets.

Peep Show centered on the life of two broken people finding solace in each other. It would appeal to fans of dark erotic romance.
